Cocktail Apprentice Program
The Cocktail Apprentice Program is an exclusive mentorship program for up-and-coming bartenders to learn alongside some of the biggest names in the business during the five days of Tales of the Cocktail®. Since 2008, more than 250 apprentices have gained extensive experience working and managing large-scale, high-volume events while providing an invaluable service to Tales of the Cocktail® and the industry as a whole Tales of the Cocktail® continues to support the growing fraternity of past apprentices by offering exclusive opportunities for scholarships and financial aid to further support their growth within the industry.

Cocktail Apprentice Reimbursement Program
NOCCPS offers former Cocktail Apprentices opportunities through the Reimbursement Program, Medical Assistance Fund, B.A.R. Scholarships and the CAP Scholarship Program that awards grants in various projects bartenders are interested in pursuing. Any former Cocktail Apprentice can apply for and secure tuition reimbursement benefits.
Cocktail Apprentice B.A.R. Scholarship
In its on-going effort to support and cultivate the international bartending community, the New Orleans Culinary & Cultural Preservation Society (NOCCPS), the non-profit organization that produces Tales of the Cocktail®, is proud to accept applications for the Cocktail Apprentice BAR® Scholarship Program. Eight former Tales of the Cocktail® Apprentices will receive a scholarship valued at $4,450 for tuition and travel expenses to attend the 14th BAR® 5-Day Spirits & Mixology Certification Program to be held in New York City on January 8-12, 2018.
