The 1st Anniversary of the New Orleans Cocktail Tour celebration becomes the first Tales of the Cocktail®.
Despite the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina, Tales of the Cocktail® returns to New Orleans, welcoming spirits professionals from around the globe.
Tales of the Cocktail® grows by one very important guest, Paul G. Tuennerman, the future Mr. Cocktail.
Ann Rogers founds the New Orleans Culinary & Cultural Preservation Society (NOCCPS), the 501c3 non-profit dedicated to supporting the cocktail industry.
The Spirited Awards® are created and added to the program at Tales of the Cocktail®.
The Golden Spirit Award is established and presented to Charlotte Voisey.
Ann Rogers and Paul G. Tuennerman are married on November 17th and Mr. and Mrs. Cocktail are united!
Michelle Dunnick, Christina Sudderth and Melissa Young join the Tales of the Cocktail® Team to help bring the festival to life with marketing, operations, accounting and event production.
The Cocktail Apprentice Program is founded, giving up-and-coming mixologists a chance to learn alongside cocktail masters.
By way of Senate Bill No. 6, the Louisiana State Legislature approves the Sazerac as the Official Cocktail of the City of New Orleans, making New Orleans the first city in the country to have an official cocktail.
Kevin Brauch, The Thirsty Traveler, is honored as the first Tales of the Cocktail® Ambassador. The ambassador program is established to recognize outstanding industry professionals.
The Flo Woodward Memorial Scholarship is established to honor of one of New Orleans’ most beloved barkeeps. This scholarship provides continuing education opportunities for members of the New Orleans hospitality industry.
The Cocktail Apprentice Scholarship Fund is founded to allow former apprentices to pursue their passion for mixology through both educational opportunities and research projects.
Eight New Orleans bars are the first recipients of the Seal of the Sazerac. This program is established to preserve the quality of the city’s most legendary cocktail.
Tales of the Cocktail® hosts Tales on Tour in Vancouver, its first festival outside of New Orleans.
The Cocktail Apprentice Medical Fund is established to provide short-term financial assistance to former Tales of the Cocktail® Apprentices to help off set large medical expenses in times of need.
In conjunction with the 10th anniversary, Tales of the Cocktail® from A to Z is written and released by Anistatia Miller and Jared Brown.
Tales of the Cocktail® celebrates its 10th Anniversary with an economic impact of $14.3 million.
