Tales of the Cocktail® Debuts the Bar InDepth Seminar Series

NEW ORLEANS, LA—May 5, 2017—In response to extensive feedback from the bartending community, Tales of the Cocktail will proudly debut the Bar InDepth seminar series this summer at the 15th Annual Tales of the Cocktail. This series of six seminars will profile some of the world’s best bars in a 90-minute session presented by the innovators behind these renowned establishments. Focusing on extensive disclosure of topics such as finance, funding, marketing, operations, staffing and drinks programs, these seminars provide a valuable glimpse into the business strategies needed to start and maintain a world-famous bar. Additionally, each seminar will feature an exclusive tasting of cocktails from the presenting bar.

“Bar InDepth will give incredible insight into how some of the world’s very best bars achieved that success,” Philip Duff, Director of Education for Tales of the Cocktail, remarked. “In each case, the founders have signed on to explain their mistakes as well as their successes, the nuts-and-bolts of operations as well as the glamour of the cocktail program, and the challenges of staff, finance and location that are unique to each bar.”
