Since 2008, the New Orleans Culinary and Cultural Preservation Society (NOCCPS), the non-profit organization that produces Tales of the Cocktail, has partnered with the University of New Orleans Research Department to generate an annual economic impact report. “In the end, it is humbling to look back and see the impact we’ve had over the years on both the Industry, as well as the City, we call home.” – Paul G. Tuennerman, Co-Owner, Tales of the Cocktail

In addition to Tales of the Cocktail’s economic impact on New Orleans, proceeds from Tales of the Cocktail’s annual events benefit the New Orleans Culinary and Cultural Preservation Society (NOCCPS), a non-profit organization dedicating to supporting and growing the international cocktail community. As Tales of thernCocktail® grows, so too does NOCCPS’s ability to fund educational programs like the Cocktail Apprentice Scholarship Fund, the Apprentice Aid Medical Fund, a new health initiative for New Orleans service industry workers and several other special projects and initiatives throughout the year. This year along, NOCCPS gave out eight B.A.R. 5-Day Scholarships and spent approximately $206,000 supporting the Cocktail Apprentice Program.
