After a decade of meticulously refining the recipe for Purity, the multi-awarded Master Blender has succeeded in his quest to create a new category of vodka with Purity.
One of only three Swedish Master Blenders, Kuuttanen has been labeled an alchemist of spirits, as he has created an unprecedented number of gold-winning spirits in recent years. What sets him apart as a Master Blender is his immense passion for his work and strong belief in quality. Thomas is knowledgeable in most all spirit categories, as his work encompasses vodka, whisky, gin, bitter, aquavit and liqueurs. With such a wide lens of experience in the creation of spirits Thomas is a renowned Master Blender in various Western European Nations. The Swedish Native began his career in bartending and is now one of Scandinavia’s most prominent spirit educators, with nearly twenty years of experience in the training of sommeliers, bartenders, restaurateurs, and journalists. Thomas received most of his higher education from the University of Lund, which is consistently ranked as one of the world’s top 100 Universities, leaving the University with several degrees in the areas of Economics, Art History, Management and Law. Thomas is also a member of several exclusive European spirit clubs including The Keepers of the Quaich, Grand Ordre du Trou Normand, des Calvados, Cidres et Pommeau and is also the founder of The Master of Whiskey Educational Program.
Aside from Thomas’s extensive career in spirits, he is also passionate about his family, fine foods and wines that are crafted with the same love and quality he applies to Purity. Thomas is especially enthusiastic about releasing Purity into the luxury vodka realm if the United States, opening up the industry to an entire new category of vodka.
