Solomon Siegel


Solomon Siegel, a Victoria BC Canada native, grew up working in his Father Howie’s and Uncle David’s pasta joint, Pagalicci’s. In 2008 he opened Victoria’s first cocktail bar, Solomon’s, and from there Solomon went on to lead the food and beverage team at Hotel Rialto, winning local awards for the wine and cocktail programs and a Whiskey Magazine Gold award for the whiskey list he created.

He has appeared making cocktails on local TV, radio and contributed articles on cocktails and spirits to local magazines. Solomon was a finalist at the G’Vine Connoisseur program 2011, Winner of the 2010 BC’s Eat Magazine’s “Knowledgeable Service,” award and 2009 Western Living’s “Top 40 Foodies Under 40″ Solomon is currently head bartender at Catalano Restaurant & Cicchetti Bar.
