SIMONE CAPORALE is a creative cocktail bartender of international renown with a distinctive personal style and the most impeccable service standards.
His drinks service career began in humble fashion 10 years ago in a small coffee bar in the heart of Como, Italy. From there he travelled throughout Europe and the Americas working in coffee shops, nightclubs, and classic cocktail bars, until he rocked up in London in 2009.
His first position, as bartender at Roast in Borough Market, allowed him to fine-tune his skills to the London style amidst a wealth of the finest fresh produce the city has to offer, and establish himself within the cocktail scene. After a whirlwind year there he moved to the Artesian Bar at the Langham.
It was here, under the tutelage of Alex Kratena, that Simone came to meet and entertain not just the bar’s international clientele, but also the leading lights of the cocktail industry from all over the world. During those three years Simone was a pillar of the Artesian team that won a host of awards, including:

Simone is proudly Italian, with an Italian bartender’s love for fresh ingredients, herbs and spices, and passionate support of Italian products. Over the last few years he has worked extensively with a wide range of Italian brands including Martini, Di Saronno, and Amaro Lucano, delivering masterclasses, seminars and cocktail training in Russia, the UK, Europe, Emirates and South America.
The international press, both trade and consumer, frequently turn to Simone for comments on any bar or cocktail-related story, and his personal creations have featured in Imbibe Magazine, CLASS, Time Out, Bargiornale, Square Meal, the London Evening Standard, Jamie Oliver celebrity chef tv channel and Wallpaper.
