Simon McGoram

Starting out in the alehouses of Surrey, England Simon returned to New Zealand in 2001 having caught the bartending bug in a big way. Whilst running the award winning Mea Culpa in Auckland, Simon won New Zealand Bartender magazine Bartender of the Year in ‘06 and soon became the contributing editor for said publication. Moving to Sydney a year later and doing a stint the renowned Bayswater Brasserie, Simon joined the Bartender magazine team full time working as deputy editor on both the New Zealand and Australian titles. In March ’09, he was appointed editor of Australian Bartender magazine.
