FAQ’s for Credentialed Media, Presenters and Sponsors

Can I adjust my confirmation after I have RSVP’d my events?
No. Once the credentialed media, presenter and/or sponsor has RSVP’d for their events, that transaction is final.

Do I get a tasting room band with each seminar?
No.  You will receive a lanyard denoting you as a credential media, presenter or sponsor of Tales of the Cocktail®.  Your lanyard will act as your tasting room band, your stand by line ticket and allow you entry in to the Reincarnation Room.  We recommend that you wear your lanyard all week long.

What does my lanyard get me into?
Your lanyard will act as your tasting room band, your stand by line ticket and allow you entry in to the Reincarnation Room.  We recommend that you wear your lanyard all week long.  Lost lanyards will not be replaceable.

Can I get an extra lanyard?
No.  We are unable to provide or replace any lost lanyards.  As long as you still have your ticket envelope, you will still be able to attend your seminars and special events.

How will I know that my RSVP order was received?
After you have registered, you can expect a confirmation email within twenty-four hours.

Can I pass the link along so my friend can attend the parties as well?
Please do not forward any special links for our RSVP site to any one else.  We have a limited number of tickets for our credentialed media, presenters and sponsors.

I just found out that I can only stay for part of Tales of the Cocktail®. Can I transfer my issued badge?
You may give your friend your physical badge, but we can not transfer any tickets at will call.

What if forget to RSVP for my events?
This year all credential media, presenters and sponsor will need to RSVP by June 1st to have guaranteed seating.  For those who do not RSVP by the dates, we will have a stand by line set up for each event.  As long as you have your lanyard and badge you will be allowed to use the stand by line for any seminar with in the Hotel Monteleone and the Royal Sonesta (excluding the Irvin Mayfield’s Jazz House)

What events will have stand by lines?
Stand by lines will be available for any seminar with in the Hotel Monteleone and the Royal Sonesta (excluding Irvin Mayfield’s Jazz House).  All other events will not have a stand by line.  Credentialed media, presenters and sponsors will have access to use the stand by lines with their lanyard and badge.

What events will not have a stand by lines?
All other events outside the Hotel Monteleone and the Royal Sonesta (including Irvin Mayfield’s Jazz House). will not have a stand by line.  Only seminars inside the Hotel Monteleone and the Royal Sonesta (excluding the Irvin Mayfield’s Jazz House) will have stand by lines for credentialed media, presenters and sponsors to access with their lanyard and badge.

What if I were to lose my tickets?
All attendees are responsible for their tickets. We will not be able to reprint and/or replace attendees’ tickets due to the magnitude of the event.

Where do I pick up with tickets and badge?
You will pick up your tickets and your badge at registration.

To receive your Tales of the Cocktail® 2012 badge, you will be asked to present a government issued ID. Feel free to ask any volunteers should you need assistance. While in line, keep an eye out for signage to ensure you’re in the correct line and guide you on your way to the registration area.

Registration is open from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday in Royal Ballrooms A & B in the Hotel Monteleone.  Registration is closed on Sunday.

Who gets to RSVP for complimentary events?
Credentialed media, presenters and sponsors of Tales of the Cocktail® will receive a link to RSVP for a total of 5 seminars and/or eligible special events will be sent out May 1st, 2012.

When should I RSVP?
Links for credentialed media, presenters and sponsors of Tales of the Cocktail® to RSVP for a total of 5 seminars and/or eligible special events will be sent out May 1st, 2012.  The RSVP site will be active for 1 month.  Once the RSVP site is deactivated, you will not have another opportunity to RSVP for 5 complimentary events.

When should I RSVP by?
You should RSVP by June 1, 2012.

Where do I get the link to RSVP?
You will emailed a link to RSVP for a total of 5 seminars and/or eligible special events on May 1st, 2012.

Where will I pick up my badge and tickets I RSVP’d for?
You will pick up your tickets and your badge at registration.

Will my name be on my tickets?
No. The name of the event, time and location will be printed on your ticket.  Your name will be on the will call envelope that the tickets are in.

No.  All tickets and gift with purchases must be picked up at registration.  You will be required to show a photo ID to confirm your identity.
